Sophie Allen

This gluten-free version of banana bread is a fantastic way to use up ripe bananas. It's not only gluten-free but also incredibly delicious, especially when you add walnuts or chocolate chips.

Here's how you can make it: Let’s get started!

Ingredients: – Ripe bananas – Gluten-free flour – Walnuts or chocolate chips (optional) – Baking powder – Baking soda – Eggs – Honey or maple syrup – Vanilla extract – Cinnamon – Salt

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.

01

In a bowl, mash the ripe bananas and mix them with eggs, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and melted coconut oil.

02

In a separate bowl, combine gluten-free flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

03

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until well combined.

04

Fold in walnuts or chocolate chips if desired.

05

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

06

Allow the bread to cool before slicing and serving.
