Peach Oatmeal Bars: A Sweet and Simple Recipe

A delightful combination of fresh peaches, brown sugar, and oats, baked to golden perfection. This recipe offers a sweet and chewy treat that is perfect for breakfast or as a snack any time of the day.

Ingredients Peach Filling – 5 cups thinly sliced peaches – ½ cup sugar – ½ teaspoon cinnamon – 1 tablespoon cornstarch – ½ teaspoon kosher salt – 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Ingredients: Crust – 2 cups all-purpose flour – 1 cup light brown sugar – 1½ cups old-fashioned oats – 1 cup butter, melted

Ingredients: - 2 Tablespoons (15g) confectioners’ sugar – 1/4 cup (60g) sour cream, at room temperature – 2 teaspoons lemon juice – 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Preheat the oven to 400°F and grease a 9x13 pan with butter.


In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches, sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch, salt, and lemon juice.


Stir until the peaches are evenly coated. Set aside.


In another mixing bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, oats, and melted butter.


Chill: Cover tightly with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least 6–8 hours and up to 2 days.
